Next time you are feeling down, try putting on a smile- there’s a good chance your mood will change for the better because smiling tricks the body into changing your mood.

When someone is smiling, they light up a room, change the moods of others, and make things feel happier. A smiling person brings happiness with them.

Smiling helps prevent us from looking tired, worn down and overwhelmed. When you are stressed, take time to put on a smile- you’ll feel your stress levels decreasing and you will be better equipped to cope with life’s challenges and take action.

Smiling helps your immune system to work better. When you smile, immune function improves because you are more relaxed.
6) Smiling lowers your blood pressure.
When you smile, there is a measurable reduction in your blood pressure. If you have access to a blood pressure monitor sit for a few minutes, and take a reading. Then smile and after a minute take another. Is there a difference?
