How Does it Work?

Your Invisalign treatment consists of a series of nearly invisible, removable aligners that you change every two weeks for the next set of aligners. Each aligner is individually manufactured for your teeth, and your teeth only. As you replace each aligner, your teeth will move – little by little, week by week – until they have straightened to the final position prescribed by your dental practitioner. Each Aligner is made of thin, clear medical grade polymer, with 3D computer technology to view your individual treatment plan from beginning to end.

To date 1.4 million patients have gone into treatment with invisalign, and the results are amazing!

How Long will treatment take?

Depending on the complexity of the case treatment can take 4-22 months. The average case takes 8-12 months.

Invisalign is unique in that you can visualise upfront the outcome of the treatment thanks to ClinCheck© 3D technology as shown above left.

The Stages of Treatment:
You can come in for a chat with the dentist first of all. This allows you to find out information and options from the dentist. The dentist will let you know if the treatment is suitable for you. You can ask any questions and you can see examples of ClinCheck©.

1) This appointment requires a deposit of £350 (which will be deducted from your treatment should you go ahead). At this appointment we will take photographs, x-rays (if necessary), impressions and bite registration ready to be sent to the laboratory.

2) You can view your exciting ClinCheck© (which will animate your treatment from start to finish) and decide if you would like to go ahead! If you decide to go ahead then the laboratory will be notified and your first set of aligners will be requested.

3) Your aligners will be fitted and all care instructions given. You have now started your journey to the smile that you have always wanted!

4) You then come back in to receive your next set of aligners once each stage is complete under the guidance of the dentist.
