This method of whitening is carried out in the dental chair: Whitening gel is applied to your teeth and then we shine a light over the gel which activates it. The gel gently breaks up stains and discolouration.

During this time you can relax and listen to music or watch TV. The gel is applied for 3 fifteen minute cycles (sometimes 4 cycles). afterwards your teeth will be whiter and brighter.

We will take impressions prior to this treatment and give you upper and lower custom made trays so you can whiten your teeth for a few nights afterwards for maximum results.

This method of whitening includes upper and lower custom made whitening trays, and a kit of Polanight tooth whitening gel. Plus the professional supervision of the dentist.

The tray whitening system which we offer has been proven to work safely, with adequate research over the last few years. This system is more predictable and effective compared to over the counter kits and the precise fit of the trays. The whitening trays are made from soft clear plastic, which is 0.75 mm thick. They are very discrete, and are barely noticeable when worn. The trays need to be worn only 1 hour per day, with noticeable results within 3-4 weeks.

How to begin the whitening process:

1) Phone, email or pop into the practice to make a 15 minute appointment

2) Come in for your appointment where we will talk through the whitening process and decide if it’s suitable for you as a patient. We will discuss which whitening method is best for you. If you would like to proceed we then take impressions to make your trays. You can then book in for either Zoom! in-chair whitening or PolaNight at-home whitening.
