He likes to give no nonsense advice that is often based of what he would do for himself. He is committed to providing high quality dental care and is very keen on preventative and minimally invasive dentistry.  He thoroughly enjoys his job and in particular likes to carry out a smile tidy, which can make a huge difference to someone’s smile. His other interests are Invisalign, Dentures and Composite filings.
He is married to Dershna, and they have two teenage children. In his spare time he enjoys travelling, Cinema, and Cycling. He can often be seen walking around Leighton Buzzard in the early morning or his Lunch hour to reach his daily target of 12,460 steps.

Christiaan is one of our experienced team of dentists and enjoys improving his patient’s smiles. His calming and laid back attitude makes coming to the practice stress free.

Christiaan likes travelling and enjoys a paper in the morning. He will often squeeze in a visit to the gym when he gets a chance.

After graduating from Newcastle Upon Tyne in 2002, Joanna worked as an associate in a general mixed dental practice in Teeside, Cleveland for 5 years before moving back home to Hertfordshire.
She has been an associate at Whole Tooth Dental Practice since April 2007. As well as enjoying family dentistry, she has also qualified in the postgraduate Advanced Dental Seminar’s Cosmetic Dentistry and Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry 1 year certificate course as well as ‘short term orthodontic’ courses Invisalign, Six month Smiles and Inman.
Joanna is married to Matthew and they have a daughter and son.


Amrita Bhogal BDS (Birm) MFDS RCSed

Since qualifying from the University of Birmingham, I have discovered a keen interest in Cosmetic Dentistry. I am now hoping to add placing dental implants to my skill set. I take pride in providing patient care to the highest standard.

I have a postgraduate in Dental Education and regularly attend courses to keep up to date with the latest techniques. I am certified to give patients the perfect smile using a short term orthodontic system ‘Six Month Smiles’.

Facial Aesthetics is an area I am very passionate about. Using anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers, patients can find a new found confidence, which I find most rewarding.

My spare time consists of running around after my toddler son, socialising with friends and family, travelling and enjoying cuisines from all over the world.

Cosmin graduated Dental University in 2003 and after successfully running his own practice in Romania for four years he decided to relocate to the UK to follow his passion in Endodontics).  He has collaborated with private practices solely providing Endodontic treatment (over 3000 cases treated).  During this time he undertook a Certificate Degree in Endodontics at the University of Chester.

He is a member of the British Endodontic Society and Academy of Microscope Enhanced Dentistry. He is a Clinical Lecturer in both the UK and Romania and his major field of interest is in Microscopic Dentistry concerning root canal treatments, aesthetic and restorative Dentistry. He also owns a Postgraduate Training Centre in Endodontics in Bucharest, Romania – The Centre of Excellence in Endodontics where he trains other dentists. They are one of the only centres in Europe to offer a British accredited CPD course and this, coupled with the knowledge of their trainers, owes to the centre’s success. He prides himself on being very ethical.  Along with English, he is also fluent in French.

Ruben Garcia graduated from University of Madrid, Spain, in 2005.

He worked at a private practice in Spain before he moved to the UK in 2007 to work for NHS and private practices. In 2011 he was selected for the three-year full time programme in Periodontology and Implant dentistry at the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute (London) and he obtained an MClinDent in Periodontology and Implantology (2014) together with a Certificate in Periodontology from the European Federation of Periodontology. In addition he was also awarded with one of the most important degrees in dentistry, the Membership in Restorative Dentistry, by the Royal College of Surgeons of England and Glasgow, degree that grants the entry to the GDC specialist list in Periodontics.

Kelly is our practice manageress; she ensures the seamless running of the practice in front and behind the scenes. Kelly keeps the practice up to date with the latest guidelines and makes sure the practice evolves with the ever-changing face of dentistry, ensuring a smooth patient journey. She has recently achieved her Diploma in Leadership and Management.

She contributes her dental skills to coordinating implant treatments as well as assisting patients with all financial matters.

In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons.

Emma works alongside Kelly to manage the clinical aspects of the day to day running of the practice. She is also an experienced dental nurse and leads our team of dental nurses here at Whole Tooth. She is proud to have achieved radiography and sedation qualifications.

In addition to her duties Emma is our website and graphics specialist, and keeps our website current and easy to understand.

Outside of work Emma likes to spend time with her family and take her puppy for walks in the countryside.

Hollie is training to be a qualified dental nurse with us. She is particularly interested in hygiene and facial aesthetics. She is having Invisalign treatment under the care of Dr Patel and is excited to see the final results.

Outside of work she enjoys cooking and going for long walks with her Fiance.



Receptionist/Apprentice Dental Nurse

Lisa works as part of our reception team and greets our patients with a smile when they arrive.  She supervises our membership plans and ensures that everything runs smoothly.

Lisa also has a keen interest in dental nursing and has started her apprenticeship to become a qualified dental nurse.

During her holidays Lisa loves to travel and visit new and exciting places.




Amy is part of our reception team and works alongside Lisa. She moved from Cornwall to start a new life with her husband and little dog. She loves meeting new people every day and has a friendly and professional approach. She will always have a smile on her face.
